Top trumps timetable. with Google calendar.

At the start of the new academic year, I always make a timetable calendar. Firstly,
this helps me to know which different subject lessons and what assignments I am setting.
Additionally , I have  with a simple colour coding formula which, with a cursory glance ,
reveals the type of lesson or breaks.

Simply right clicking over a particular calendar entry allows the user to color code it-
very useful; in my calendar lunch is always yellow- I don’t want to miss my breaks,
other classes are maroon.

It’s easy to schedule recurring classes by clicking into an individual class entry and
selecting when and how frequently a class occurs.
With the custom  repeat I can select precisely  when the class next meets.

Sharing is caring!

By inviting colleagues in the guest area of the calendar a teacher can easily share lesson
planswith a colleague or a student that missed the lesson. A student could share a
timetabled lesson with a parent.

Assignments set in Google classroom are automatically added to my calendar
and it syncs with all my devices.

I run an active task list down the side so that I can prioritise a list of tasks I must complete
and ensure that nothing is forgotten.(I have part hidden this list for privacy).
Different calendar views enable a quick check on the week. Daily , weekly ,
monthly or yearly view.

I find the agenda view useful for looking at my week in summary.

Be super organised and know exactly when the next holiday is!
